mmar - Devlog 7
This post is part of a devlog series documenting my progress building mmar
, a cross-platform tunnel that exposes your localhost to the world. If you’d like to follow along from the beginning, you can find all the devlogs here.
Open Sourcing + Launching mmar!
I’m really excited to announce that mmar is finally open source, live and available for use! You can check it out at mmar.dev. Here’s a quick demo of it in action, where I open a mmar tunnel to this website running locally on my machine:
If you’re looking for a tool that creates an HTTP tunnel for your localhost making it accessible through a public URL that is:
- completely open source
- built with zero dependancies
- cross-platform
- self-hostable
- super easy to use
- provides free tunnels on persistent generated subdomains
Then mmar is the tool for you!
Feedback + Issues
If you find any issues, I would love to hear your feedback on how I can improve mmar. Feel free to create a GitHub issue and let me know.
Thanks!
If you’ve been following along through the different devlogs or recently discovering mmar, thanks for checking it out! I’m excited to see what you use it for!
